Bulimia

Bulimia is a disorder where subjects engage in recurrent binge eating followed by feelings of guilt, depression, and self-condemnation. Patients suffering from Bulimia will then engage in compensatory behaviors to make up for the excessive eating: vomiting, fasting, the use of laxatives, diuretics, or overexercising. Bulimia treatment generally involves nutritional support and psychotherapy: Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy, as well as other approaches such as Hypnosis, EMDR, Brief and Strategic Therapies
