Psychotropics 

Psychotropic medications are characterized by their primary action on Central Nervous System. Most prescribed psychotropic medications include tranquilizers, sleeping pills, antidepressants and mood regulators.

Antidepressants

Antidepressants are psychotropic medications that were initially prescribed in depression. More recently, prescription of antidepressants has become widespread in Anxious Disorders such as Panic, Phobia and OCD. In all these indications, prescription of antidepressants is often associated by therapy, eg behavioural and cognitive therapy, EMDR.

Tranquilizers

Tranquilizers are psychotropic drugs which are usually prescribed in Anxious Disorders (Generalized Anxiety, OCD, Panic, Phobias...). . In all these indications, prescription of tranquilizers is often associated by therapy, eg behavioural and cognitive therapy, EMDR.
